Tournaments involving clubs from neighbouring towns are underway and we do want to express our appreciation to the local organizations that sponsor these competitions: Gerrow Memorial, Investor's Group, Re/Max Real Estate, Reliable Plumbing, Wagg Funeral Home and Classic Aluminum are great sup- porters of our club. New sponsors for the inter-club games have been added this year and receive our thanks for their financial aid. Our club has a history dating back to the late 1800s with land deals that have got us to our present site. For many years, the club was situated at the property on Queen St. across from the 1.G.A. store and moved to our present spot in 1985. Much fundraising was needed to pay for the present club house and sheds. We are a non-profit group and keep our yearly fees as low as possible. We do welcome all people that would like to try this game of lawn bowling and we are at the club house most nights of the week.
