The playoffs being just around the corner and the Dunnies firm- ly lodged in first they can afford to rest some top stars to make ready for the big ones. Both teams capitalized on penalties yesterday. The Dunnies started off on the right foot as they built up a 2-0 lead by the 10.36 mark of the first period on goals by Samolen- ko and Hassard. However the Habs came fighting back with goals by Black with two and Broden with one to take a 3-2 lead at the end of the first 20 minutes of play. The Dunnies made good a pen- alty to Broden in the second, to knot the count at 3-all with Ba- bando getting his first of a pair. Just 80° seconds later, the Dun- nies took the lead for the second time but once again they were un- able to hold it as the Canadiens came back less than two min. utes later to beat Donlevy with the equalizer.
