The meeting has been arr: ang- i |ed for Friday April 1 at 8 p.m 17 Machines Tested In One Vehicle MONTREAL (CP)--Delegates at the annual meeting of the woodlands section of the Cana dian Pulp and Paper Association were told Thursday how abilities of 17 different machines used is logging operations were tested im a single vehicle. W. J. Adams Jr., said the tests were carried out on a vehicle that was specially constructed at a research centre in San Jose, Calif. Without the special machine, he said, tests would have had te be made on 17 different vehicles and comparisons would have been inaccurate. Primarily the machine, to test factors that influence sti and traction, combined the pi ing powers of a tractor with the mobility of a truck.
