Providing farmers with a stan- dard of living comparable to other sections of the economy means agricultural prices higher than in any other country except the United States, he said. Until living standards in other countries come closer to Can- ada's, this country can't expect to export any large quantity of most agricultural items, he told Canadian Seed Trade Asso ciation convention. - Two circumstances probably represented matters of most fm. mediate concern in agriculture.
