(CP)--Ca- nadian farmers seem to waste space, says David Birbeck, 20- vear-old Scottish farmer who came to study farm methods in Ontario. In Scotland, he said, "every workable patch of ground is seeded or put to use," but he has found many pieces not being worked here. NO CHARGE PRESTON, Ont. (CP)--Police declined to lay a charge in the case of two persons who entered|. a house here and made off with one of the occupants. The of- fenders, six years old, had tried to get away with a tiny puppy. FLYING OBJECT REGINA (CP)-If it was a flying saucer that former air cadet Wayne Stevenson, 18, saw, it was a colorful one. He said the white light high in the sky changed to blue, green and yel- low before disappearing at high speed. Parker.
