BLACKSTOCK ORONO -- On Tuesday night, May 6, the Orono Rangers, Guides and Brownies held a Mother and Daughter Banquet in the Orono United Church Sun- day School room. Over 150 mothers and daughters were present. The banquet tables were taste- fully decorated with 'blue and gold streamers and sprays of forsythia carried on the color scheme. The ladies of the Local Association, with the help of several interested friends served a turkey dinner with all the trimmings.
