Representing the com- pany was John M. Simon, gen- eral manager of the company's Canadian operations and leading the union's team was George| Brooks, of Whitby. Following the signing of the| agreement, which grants a package increase of 64 cents,| Mr. Simon told union members that he had been impressed by the statesmanlike way the union team, headed by Mr. Brooks, had presented their case. He said that he had also been equal-| ly pleased by the manner in| which the company negotiators | led by Thomas Norwood, Whit-| by works manager, had re-| sponded. | Mr. Simon, who came to Can- George Brooks, local 494 pres ident, and D.
