Treasur- HARVEY HUNT AUXILIARY The May meeting of the Har- vey Hunt Evening Auxiliary of the Women's Missionary Society of Simcoe Street United Church was held recently. Miss Gladys Frise, president, presided. Hon- ored guests were the baby band mothers, former members, and the Reverend John K. Moffat. It was the 37th birthday of the Auxiliary. Mrs. Fred Lloyd read the minutes and Mrs. Mervin Perkin gave the treasurer's re- port. ent in the art of spinning and provided an enjoyable evening. She brought her one-hundred. year-old spinning wheel to give a first hand demonstration of her work and also showed many samples of the finished product, sweaters, stoles and scarves. Dr. Tremeer raises her own Samoyed dogs for the wool. The next meeting is to be held on June 19 at the home of Mrs. S. J. Stuart, Brooklin. CENTRE STREET WA The May meeting of the Woman's Association of Centre | er's report was given by Mrs. David Morris. A report of flow- ers sent was given by Mrs. Earl James. Plans were discussed for sum- mer activities. It was decided the turkey supper would be held Wednesday, October 25. 15th SCOUT MOTHER'S AUX. The regular meeting of the 15th Oshawa Scout Mother's Auxiliary was held at Albert Street United Church. The Presidnet Mrs. Ray Har- rison opened the meeting. Mrs. Albert Sargent read the trea- at Alexandra Park. Cubs and Scouts will be notified as to time at their next meeting. June 4: Annual Church Parade at Camp Samac. It was also decided that members who are interested to bring a cup and saucer for the new ladies' lounge, which the group will be using next season.
