Children promoted to a new class passed through the gates of their new teacher. Mrs. Ronald Morrison, teach- er of the Nursery Class, pro- moted from her class Douglas Morrison, Harold Mountjoy, Roger Hancock, Janet Ogle, Richard Melch, George Mitchell, Neil Love, Wayne Watson, Gary Selleck, Robert Topping, Mich- ael Williams, Gary Snowden and Jordan Lambert. Mrs. Ted Maidman promoted] the following children from the| Kindergarten Class -- Diane Mountjoy, Carol Barnett, Linda Flintoff, Debra Sutton, Donald Tregunna, Jeff Thomas, Brian Watson, Robert MacDonald and Paul Jackson, Mrs. William Woodward pro- moted a group of girls to a new- ly formed class, which will be taught by Mrs. Bill Rosnak. Ladies Guild Prepare Bale For Mission By MRS. R. RICHARDSON ASHBURN -- The Rev. Doug- las Fox from Wick had charge of the morning service at Burn's Church on Sunday morning, Oct, 1. This being "Sacrament Sun- day," Mr. Fox used for his theme the "Significance of the Sacrament." The senior choir had charge| of the music. The first meeting of the sea- son of the Ladies' Guild was held in the Sunday School room on Wednesday evening. The ladies are preparing a bale to be sent to the Evangel] Hall Mission, Toronto.
