Mit- chell were dinner guests at Mrs. J. Thompson, Oshawa on Wednesday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Roach, Mr. and Mrs. Stan Isoki, Miss Susan Roach and Mr. Hal Marten attended the Cowan- Chard wedding in Brampton on Saturday. Manchester U.C.W The Sept. meeting was held at the home of Mrs. Toombs with 19 members and 1 guest in attendance. The meeting was opened by Mrs. Toombs, with 4 thought for the day. Lamb. Timely arrangements were made for the Rummage, Tea and Bake Sale on Sept. 19th Anyone having items for the Rummage Sale may phone Mrs. Wilson, 2818 or Mrs. Elliott - 2245. All Rum mage items should be in by Sept. 17th or 18th. The meeting closed with the Benediction.
