There was a good attendance of twenty- three members and three vis- itors. In the absence of the President, Mrs. A. Bruce took charge and conducted the pro- gram. The meeting opened by singing Hymn 168, "Take Time To Be Holy" followed by the Lord's prayer. Mrs. A Jackson read the scripture lesson. Mrs. Bruce gave a love- 985-3382 Diners held their 5th meeting at the home of Mrs. Ted Lamb. | The meeting was opened with the pledge which was followed by the Roll Call. to use a raw vegetable in an interesting way for a carried lunch. The minutes of the last meeting were read by the secretary, Connie Sutherland. Discussion followed concern- ing carried lunches to school or to work. Karen Davidson and Donna Forsythe demonstrated the salad sandwiches. These were eaten by the club members, Mrs. Lamb served a refreshing grape drink to accompany the sandwiches. The meeting closed with the 4-H motto.
