In the first period the boys started out slowly with the Brooklin team getting the opener by Michael Rice, un- assisted. During the second period ithe boys started to check and skate harder, which re- sulted in a much needed goal by Bill Owen from Tim Kane midway in the period to tie the score. From the start of the third periéd, it was a Port Perry game all the way. No sooner had the boys returned to the | ice, when Bill Owen put the puck neatly behind the de fending Brooklin goalie to make his secorfd tally of the night.
