Fortunately for the many spectators, the sun was out most of the time and took some punch out of the 40 to 50 mile an hour winds pre- vailing throughout most of the races. Also giving some com- fort were the refreshmnet booth set up serving hot dogs, coffee, hot chocolate, etc. Everything was well organ- ized and all races went off without a hitch and only two minor mishaps occured during the day. When St. John's Ambulance didn't show up for the races, members of Port Perry Fire Department stood by in the event of emergencies. The success is not entirely due to the effort of Lions Club members. Quite a few interested gave a helping hand during the day and contributed tly to make this Lions 's first worth repeating were at home to the Stouff-| replying with two goals to | Supertest play-off hopes alive + ei ans next year. ville Club for the third game/ take a 4 2 lead.
