Roach, Manchester, became the bride of Mr. Harold (Hal) Mar- > tin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Martin, Toronto, Ont. Attending the bride was her sister as matron of honour Mrs. Eunice Isoki, Toronto. Her bridesmaids were Mrs. Gayle Feeney, Mrs. Hazel Sanders, Mrs. Wendy Shank, al! of Tor- onto; and Miss Martha Cranley of Aurora. Miss Shelly Cowan of Brampton was a lovely flower girl. The groom's attendants were Mr. Lew Martin, Georgetown, brother of the groom, Mr, John Gordon, Mr. Bill Bennett, Mr. Ivan Sanders and Mr. John Barfoot, all of e Toronto A reception and dance followed at the Royal Canadian Legion, Port Perry. The bride and groom spent their honeymoon in South Carolina. They will reside in Toronto. > ? ? -- waa - = , ; GREENWOOD TV Senior Citizens A very pleasant evening was spent at the Club on Wed., March 17th. A large crowd attended. Mr. E. Healy was M.C. and Mrs. B.Larret, Pres. extended a welcome to all. The evening was thor- oughly enjoyed by everyone. Dr. Rennie and Mrs. E. Hun- ter provided the music which consisted of Irish songs. Dr. Rennie played the Banjo and Violin, Mrs. Hunter at the piano and Mr. G. Sweetman showed interesting slides of his trip to Yellow Knife. Mrs. Guy of Greenbank also toox us on a trip to Japan. Mr. Carnegie, her brother took these slides while there. Both explained pictures that were shown. Centennial flag has been hung in the Hall, presented by one of the members to honour Port Perry's 100th year. Waiters and, waitress- es were decked out (ladies in green aprons and men green bow ties). Tables Were taste fully decorated for St. Pat- rick's Day. Dainty lunch was served. Mrs. E. Healy thanked everyone for such a delight- ful evening. Mrs. Larrett presented small.tokens of ap- preciation to Dr. Rennie and Mrs. E. Hunter. Applause showed how much everyone appreciated the program.
