Mrs. Alma Muir, Toronto, visited the Lamb and John- ston families on the week- end. Mona Bates, one of the first Canadian Pianists to tour Europe and achieve an on Monday, March 29, at the age of 80. She was also a soloist and gave several per- formances at Toronto's Mas- sey Hall with several orches- tras, including New York Philharmonic. Her father was a Presbyterian minister in Port Perry.
