Skating together since November Peter and Kelly were runner-up in the Novice dance event in the Central Ontario Sections and placed third in the tri-county invitat- ional competition held at Port Huron, Michigan. Peter has been a member of the Port Perry Figure Skat ing club for several years and is now as his partner a member of the Toronto Cricket skating and curling club. He is now working on his pre-gold dances. Cubs and parents frem Ist Seugog Pack visited Port Perry B pack on April 13th Mrs. Larry Kendall took the grand howl, a combined ef- fort of Ist Scugog and Port B. Pack. Akela Saulnier, Ray Pallant and Don Waldinsperger then had the two packs play two games of floor hockey. Marianne Smits, Leonard Styles, assisted Mrs. Saulnier ;im preparing a lunch for the boys. Mrs. Kendall led the packs in two games then she and Akela Saulnier served the pack their lunch. A re- turn visit is planned for Port B soon. Port B remember May 4th. Pine wood Derby | race. April 6th the wolf cubs games. The fun started with Port A and Cartwright cubs | playing to a 44 tie, then Port C and Scugog Island played to a 70 score. These two| games were well played by| all cubs and wel! coached. At 8:30 Port B met Man- chester and Manchester beat Port $2, winning the annual | hockey award. A party was held at the Port Perry Scout Hall for the winning pack. Paul Stany, Port B presented Manchester with the trophy. We are stil! looking for help to pay ice |time.
