After another period of quiet our church was opened again on Saturday afternoon for a wedding when Mr. Doug. McPhail and Miss Rose Ann Harper were united in marriage by Rev. L. A. Critch in the presence of about 50 guests. After having his vacation interrupted for the third time, Mr. Critch with his fa-| } mily and wife too, this time, returned to Havelock to fin- ish it off this week. Church services will be resumed next Sunday. The summer schedule is still in force so our speaker for the day will be Rev. P. Brown from Port Perry. Church at 10, SS. at 11. Sept. 12th is to be Rally Day here and the speaker will be Mr. David Patterson from Cambridge St. Church, Lindsay. Sept. 19th This may be Anniversary Sunday. We! have no details yet.
