MIDGET LEAGUE Local 222, Navy Vets Both Still Unbeaten Local 222 and Navy Vets Picked up wins, last night in Oshawa Minor Hockey Associa- tion action to remain unbeaten and untied in Midget series ac- tion this young season. Both teams have captured their first two starts this young 1961-62 campaign and are tied for top spot in the eight team loop. Local 222 whipped Rotary 3-1 while Navy Vets showed a fine team effort downing Ki- wanis 4-1. In the other two games Cana- dian Legion blanked. Kinsmen omon opening the scoring and closing it which gave the win- ners their insurance marker. Garry Bradley was the other winners' marksman. For Rotary Gerry Abbott blinked the red light.
