The Reverend Father Gignac opened the meet- ing with the league prayer and the president addressed a word of welcome to the members present. Mrs. Real Goulet read the minutes, taking the place of the actual secretary who is at the hospital. After the various conveners read their reports, the members proceeded to the election of a new committee who will direct the federation business for the next two years. The president Mrs. Lucien Chamberland, the secretary, Mrs. Yvan Gilbert, the treasu- rer, Mrs. Alcide Lecler and two of the conveners, Mrs. Richard Lacroix and Mrs. Yvon Leger were re-elected for a second term, Mrs. Nellie Richard be- came the first vice-president, and Mrs. Howard Gimblett, the second vice-president.
