The Ajax Public School Board on Monday unveiled its 1962 budget in the amount of $528,- 255 of which the municipal tax E\llevy is $344,256. Last year the total was $479,000 and the public school supporters' share was $319,419 or over $25,000 less than this year. Translated into mill rate terms, the residential rate is 29.757 and the industrial rate is 33.063. The biggest single expendi- iure hike in the 1962 list is in the category of Planning and De- velopment which calls for $20,- 000.
