In the Biddy League, the front-running Parts and Service continued their winning ways with a decisive 20-to-12 win over the Firefighters Association. In this game, the top scorer for Parts was Coninco with 10, while for the Firemen it was a real team effort with Eldridge leading the way with three. The first half saw the hook- and-ladder gang in the lead by the count of nine-to-eight, but when the second half got under way it was a completely differ- ent story, as the P and S team chy a completely different rand of ball and subdued the Firemen's scoring punch with some very effective checking.
