Bill Little put an end to any hope Seven-Ups had of a play- off berth when he pumped Mike Dubeau's pass by a Seven-Up rearguard into the loser's net. George Vail added another into the empty cage with eight seconds left on a drive from just inside the blue line. Oshawa finished the } season) jthe final period he was called on to make unbelievable stops on Brampton attackers who waltzed in unmolested on sev- eral occasions, At the end of the game, a group of Whitby Dunlops, perch- ed at the edges of their seats at the south end of the Gardens, sprung to their feet and romp- ed to the Oshawa dressing room to congratulate the winners.
