MARRIED 25 YEARS Mr. & Mrs. Lloyd Annis Celebrate Silver Wedding Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. Lioyd R. Annis, Albert street, celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary at dinner party held in Storie Park clubhouse on Saturday evening. The reception was attended by friends and relatives from To- ronto, Whitby, Frankford and| Oshawa. Mrs. Sarah Callison, alMrs. John Callison, 24, 1938. The minutes| were read by the secretary, Mrs, Raymond Barber, and the treasurer's report was given by Mrs, Orville Rahme. Reminders were given from District Coun- cil by Mrs, Gray. Mrs. Garnet Goyne, vice-president, gave the scout promise and the cub law was given by Mrs, Peter Simpson. Plans were discussed for the father and son banquet to be} held in Courtice United Church April 27. The next meeting will be held April 4, convened by. the Otter Patrol. P.M.A. CLUB The pleasant Monday after- noon Club held the weekly meet- ing in the Legion Hall with first vice-president, Mrs. R. G. Col- lison, presiding. It was unani- mously decided to go to London, Ontario, for the annual outing on June 17. Names of mem- bets wishing to go will be taken up to May 27.
