About 100 relatives, friends and neighbors called during the afternoon and evening to extend their good wishes. Receiving were Mr. Lewis Rundle and Mr. Raymond Run- dle. Mrs. Rundle wore a_ coffee colored sheath dress of satin brocade and a corsage of red sweetheart roses, -- Many beautiful floral arrange- ments, sent from the Official Board, the choir of St. Ste- phen's, friends and the family, decorated the rooms, The amni- versary cake, flanked by coral colored candles, centered the lace-covered dining table. The open- ing prayer was led by Mrs. Victor Henkelman. Mrs, Harry Grant, the presi- dent, announced the next meet- ing will be held at the home of Mrs. Leslie Gray, 126 Harmony} road north. There will be a panel discussion on Bible Fas- hions. The minutes were read by the secreatry, Mrs. John Toth. As the evening drew to a close the friends and family joined in singing old hymns and Gosepl song favorites, led by Mr. Say- well, with Mrs, Rundle at the console of the organ, Mr, and Mrs, Rundle are members of St, Stephen's United Church, where Mr. Rundle a member of the session and Mrs.. Rundle is president of the United Church Women, and rorganist and choir leader. The couple have spent all of their married life in the Oshawa district with the exception of four years spent in Florida. Mrs. Rundle 's the former Florence L. Pointon, of West Palm Beach, Florida, daughter of Mrs. James Collett, Oshawa, and the late Mr. Lewis Pointon. Mr. Rundle is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel C. Rundle of Ebenezer and Maple Grove. They have four children, Mrs. Alex Ferries and Mr. Lewis Rundle, Camp Borden (twins); Mr, Raymond Rundle, Detroit, and Miss Sylvia Rundle, Toron- to, and three grandsons, Ken- neth Rundle and Alex and Tom- my Ferries.
