George Charles Gordon Bement, RCAF Station, Dana, Saskatche- wan. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William How- ells, Burketon, and the bride- groom is the son of Mrs. Vic- tor Bement, Vancouver, British Columbia, and the late Mr. Be- ment. The Reverend A, E. Larke of- ficiateq and Mrs. C. A. Naylor played the wedding music. | Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown fashioned with a long white vel- vet bell skirt, with a chapel train of white velvet lined with satin. The bodice was lace over and a scoop neckline. Her head- dress was a half coronet of mother-of-pear! holding a finger. tip veil of net. She carried a cas- cade of red roses and white car- nations. MVILIALLY VOULUSLULG Annette Alvaro Wed Recently Annette Catherine Alvaro, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Alvaro, Oshawa, became the bride of Dominic Calderone, Oshawa, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph -Calderone, San Luca, Italy, recently in St, Gregory's Roman Catholic Church, with Monsignor Paul Dwyer offi- ciating. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a full- length gown of bridal lace with a bouffant skirt, sweetheart neckline and lily-point sleeves and the bodice enhanced with pearls. Her headdress was a crystal and pearl tiara, holding a shoulder-length nylon tulle veil with embroidered edges, She carried a cascade of white roses. The maid of honor was Miss Grace Silvestri and the brides- maids were Miss Josephine Alvaro, Miss Mary Minaci, Miss Ann Molinaro, and Miss Ida Siciliano, all of Oshawa. They were gowned alike in pink nylon organza idresses with portrait necklines, short sleeves and full | skirts} \nipped -in at the waistlines. But when you swallow your nervousness and compose your- self for the time, one redeem- ing feature can be a good pro- cedure book detailing your rou- tine, When you leave this book behind you, your boss won't be left in the lurch with a girl who's as green as Kelly green about the office routine.
