E. Kemp of St. John's Anglicen Church, Port Whitby. In January, 1957, the Rever- end J. N. Lothian became rec- tor and held the first vestry meeting when the Portable Church received permission to be catied St. Mark's Anglican Church. Two Junior groups were formed under leadership of the WA. Our "Little Helpers", bap- tized children up to seven years of age, number now over 100. WA send them birthday cards every year and given them an annual party. The Junior Auxiliary also sponsored by WA was formed by Mrs. J. N. Lothian and in- eludes girls, seven to 12 years of age. We had 20 JA members. In September 1960 the Rever- end Alfred Woolcock and Mrs. Woolcock, came to St. Marks as rector and Mrs. Philip Law- rence was appointed JA Leader. We have at present 45 JA members very active. Four!| girls won four first prizes in | knitting in the Dominion Dor- | cas competition and one girl al second prize. Our main activities this year are mostly concerned with mis- sionary work abroad and at our own local mission church.
