Black Knights Alone In NPHL First Place Black Knights ran their con- secutive win streak to three as they downed Dyett Sports 11-0, thereby taking over sole posses- sion of top spot in the NPHL (UAW). The opening 30 minutes of ac- tion saw Dyett's hold the favor- ed Knights in check before sur- rendering two goals in the lat- ter half of the period. Actually, Dyett's erratic shooting was re- to a large degree for their trailing 2-0 at the period's conclusion. The final period saw Knights take sole command of the con- test with the inevitable result that sustained pressure paid off with Knights running roughshod over a Dyett team that came apart a' the seams, as they rammed nine goals past the harassed Dyett netminder. Both clubs opening on a fast' scoring note, notched two goals each in the opening 10 minutes with Modern's moving into a 4-2 lead late in the period. The final period provided all the ingredients of an exciting tilt as Suddard's put on a sus- tained offensive in a bid to re- duce the margin.
