HARVEY T. MOYER Harvey T. Moyer, highly re. garded throughout his 38 years with General Motors, died this morning in Toronto Western Hospjtal. His residence was 98 Oshawa boulevard south. At his retirement in 1960, Mr. Moyer was in charge of the GM shipping department. He went to work for GM in Walkerville, Ontario, prior to the First World War. In 1915 he joined the Imperial Army and served: until 1919. Joining the Oshawa plant in 1919, Mr. Moyer was in charge of shipping for GM in Regina, Saskatchewan, from 1937 to 1946. He then returned to Oshawa. Mr. Moyer was the son of the late Rev. and Mrs. H. D. Moyer. |He married the former "Dee" Eames in Windsor, Ont. He was a member of Simcoe Street United Church. Surviving, besides his wife, are a son, Donald, and two grand daughters, Laurie and Leslie Ann. Also surviving are two sisters: Mrs, L. G. Hag- meier, Virginia, USA, and Mrs. J. B. McClinton, Timmins, Ont. Mr. Moyer was predeceased by a sister, Mrs. J. E. Hagmeier, of Kitchener. Mr. Yoo was in his 61st year. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Louis Joo and was born in Hungary. He mar- ried the former Julia Koszta. in Hungary, Jan. 11, 1927. Mr. Yoo came to Canada 35 years ago and has been a resi- dent of Oshawa for 25 years. He has worked as a moulder with Fittings Limited -for 25 years. He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Mike Ba- lough (Sezrena), Oshawa, and two sons, William (Steve) and Robert, both of Oshawa. There is one grandchild, Joseph Balough.
