Mc- The death of a lifelong resi- dent of the Bowmanville area, Mrs. Alberta Beatrice Munday, occurred at the Memorial Hos- pital, Bowmanville, today in her 85th year. She resided at 12 Wellington street, The deceased was the former Alberta Beatrice Stevens, and was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Stevens. In 1898, she married Mark M. Mun- day at Maple Grove, Mr.' Mun- day predeceased his wife in 1960. Mrs. Munday was a member of Maple Grove United Church. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. George Brown (Greta), of Bowmanville and two sons, Ivi- son of Bowmanville and E'gin of Oshawa. A brother and sister- in-law, Mr. and Mrs. RR. Stevens, of Bowmanville, also survive, with eight grandchil- dren and eight great-grand- children. The remains are at the Morris Funeral Chapel for the funeral Thursday, July 2, at 2 p.m. Rev: J. P. Romeril, pastor of the Courtice circuit wil) conduct the service. Interment will be Aree, J Kelly, and M. LeBretan. in Bowmanville Cemetery.
