Prior to this, 'the Scugog Cleaners had two tough battles, beating out the Trenton Elec- trics 2-1, in their first game of the tournament, on Friday night. The Friday night game went 11 innings before a winner was declared. In their semi-final set, Seugog Cleaners had to beat out Oshawa A and W in a hectic 4-2 game. ; OUST TRENTON Oshawa Scugog Cleaners won| ! their first game on Tuesday night, defeating Trenton Elec- trics 2-1. Bob Mason pitched this win for the leaners, giving up only two his over the full distance, a single to Pearson, with two out in the third inning and a hhome-run blow to Murphy, with two out in the sixth frame - - this produced Trenton's only run.
