She was as- sisted by the aunt of the bride- elect, Mrs. Fred Hayward. Friends of the future bride- held a_ miscellaneous ower at the home of Mrs. James Preseot on Clarke street where the hostess was assisted by Mrs. William Dick. 'An evening garden party, held on the lawn of the hostess, Mrs. Leonard Weeks, took the form of a cup and saucer shower. The bride was seated beneath a dec- orated lawn umbrella, The guests included. relatives and friends of the bride with visi- tors present from Scarborough. The hostess was assisted by her daughter Suzanne and Mrs, Ed- ward Franklin. The attendants, Miss Eleanor Bowman, Mrs, Brian Simpson and Mrs. Vincent Vasey held a miscellaneous shower at the home of the latter's mother, Mrs. Donald Wyrozub, Dean avenue, 'where former school friends attended. Mrs. Gordon Patterson and Miss Grace Wilson entertained at the home of the latter on Grenfell avenue, where friends and family of the prospective bridegroom attended. Mrs. James Bowman and Eleanor, Miss Karen Barnes and her mother Mrs, Ernest Barnes, held a neighborhood shower for the residents of Huron street, where the bride- to-be resides. Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Wilson, Finucane street, will entertain the bridal party after the re- hearsal this evening. Gloria Morris Honored At Showers, Parties Miss Gloria Morris was en- tertained at a number of show- ers prior to her marriage in Cedardale United Church last Saturday, to Mr. Robert Hud- dieston. , --Mrs. Wm.
