The charge was disniissed. Mrs. Pamela Gibson, Old For- He was sentenced to 15 months definite, and three months in- definite, and cautioned by Mag- Jermyn to make the most of the training he would be ering court he had interviewed the ac- eused woman on July 8. He said she told him the rifle had been purchased for the boy the day before the incident. Mrs. Gibson said she had pur- chased the rifle for the boy's father so he could show his son the proper way of handling fire- arms. Magistrate Jermyn ordered that the rifle be confiscated. 15 MONTHS John Charles McDonajd, a resident of the House Con- cord, received a sentence of 15 months in a training school after Magistrate Harry Jermyn learned that the youth had vio- lated his parole. On Aug. 11, McDonald was found guilty of break, enter, and theft and sentenced to a term of probation. One of the terms of the sen- tence was that he was to stay away from all others on proba- tion, On Aug. 16, a member of the Pickering Township police de- partment saw him in company with several other youths, also on probation, and McDonald offered, and to change his ways.
