Last residence was 300 Byron street, Whitby, and she was in her 62nd year. The former Miss Olive Ruth Campbell she was born in Black Cape, Quebec, a daughter of Mrs. Evangeliné and the late -|Mr. James Edward Campbell. Educated in publie schools in New Richmond, Quebec, she graduated from Campbelltown Business College in 1921. In 1926 she married Bruce O. Corner in Whitby and the couple have lived there since that time. Mr. Corner is chief of the Whit- by Volunteer Fire Brigade. Mrs. Corner was an adherent of the Whitby Baptist Church and is survived by her husband, mother, two sons, James and Kenneth of Whitby, three daugh- ters, Mrs. J. W. French (Aileen), Oshawa, Mrs. C. A. Rogers (Roma), Oshawa, Mrs. M. Bemis (Thelma), Brooklin, and 11 grandchildren. Funeral service will be held in W. C. Town Funeral Chapel, November 2, at 2 p.m. and Rev. J. STANLEY TRIPP McFARLAND ROSSMORE--In failing health for the past two years, Stanley Tripp McFarland of Rossmore, Ont., died at the Kingston Gen- eral Hospital on Wednesday. He was in his 56th year. Born at Roblin, Ont., he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John McFarland. He has lived in this community for the past 13 years and previous to that in Toronto. Mr. McFarland has been em- ployed for the past 28 years as a truck driver for the H. J, Me- Farland Construction Company. He was a member of the United 'Church of Canada. ~ Surviving are two sons, Carl of Belleville and George of Peterborough and two daugh ters, Mrs. Joseph (Clara) Turn- er of Oshawa and Mrs. Ernest (June).
