There were '@pproximately 120 prize win- ners in the costume classifica- tion and 70 prize winners in the races, $90 RAISED Even though the transportatio and walking conditions were hazardous, the financial pro- - eeeds were beyond expecta- tions and over $90 was realized and given back to the students in prize money. Through this generosity it was possible to give larger prizes to the first five winners, and it is interesting to note, that all the "wee ones" who competed were rewarded for their efforts whether they were prize winners or not, The judges were Mrs. George 'Samells, Mrs, Bruce Beare, Mrs. Cochrane, Mrs. Earl Martyn, Miss Susan Adderley and Miss Stanyer. The prize awards were in charge of Mrs. Lloyd Hunter. Mrs. Elmer Lee ably recorded the events of the afternoon's activities. The races were supervised by Sam Cawker, Stuart Lane and Robert Robertson. The announc- ing was in charge of Mr. Cor- nish. After the judging of costumes was completed, races were held for al] age groups.
