Lawrenson is appearing in county court on a charge of ob- taining the goods, valued at $175 by false pretences. The hearing terminated this morning with counsel addresses to the jury. When the accused was arraign- ed at the morning session on Thursday, counsel retained by the accused failed to appear. Judge A. C.
