The win for the Hawks, fanned their playoff hopes and was _ their second in-a-row over the slump- ing Brooklin team. Brooklin got off in the first half of the season like a-house- on-fire, as they won their first 10 games in-a-row and all by decisive scores, except the league opener. Just what has happened to the once terrors of the league, is' hard to tell! The other teams have im- proved somewhat, but certainly not that much. Any team gets complacent, if they win all the ties ume will snap them out of it. The Brooklin "bench' ap- pears to have lost the sting that is needed to make them a championship contender.
