This is espe- cially so during the festive season of Christmas when several of the groups dis- play the customs and cos- tumes of their native lands, such as the above group of garian Culture Club of Osh- awa at 64 Albany street. Ready to rehearse their carols are Shirley Puskas, in rear; and front row, left to right, Suzanne Dobos, Kathy Kiraly and Elizabeth Csa- fordy. Their handsome cos- tumes are a familiar trade- mark at concerts and pa- rades in which the club par- ticipates. Oshawa's Hungar- ian community is not num- erically large, but they are most active in community projects such as the annual Oshawa Folk Festival, where their floats annually win acclaim and their com- petitors usually finish high on the list.
