This mis- understanding perhaps. has caused some confusion in the minds of some local citizens "who may be inclined to doubt the soundness of the students' comprehensive study. In actuality the authors of the study were very much enlight- _ ened on the subject, each deal- ing with the portion of the study most closely related to his or her previous experience. With- out intending to belittle or diminish the excellenge -of the} Whitby Study, as if currently being reprinted in the 'Times', a word of explanation and de- scription of the students may be appropriate.
