ANN Misinformed Hubby Should Be Set Straight Scsr Ann Lenders: Several! months ago my doctor told me I would have a baby in April-- between the 12th and the 20th. This is our first.child, so natur- ally Zellic and I are excited. A few weeks ago Zellic asked me if I thought I would have the baby by April 15. I told him there was no way of. knowing for sure and I asked him why he cared. He said, 'We need the tax deduction." I was of- fended that he would think of money at a time like this but I kept quiet. This morning Zellic said, "Why don't you jump off the table a few. times? It might bring the baby sooner." I told) him that was the worst thing he ever said in his whole life. He replied, 'Any time after seven months a baby is fully developed. And just think--you would get out of two months of lugging that load." I am disappointed that my husband is so insensitive to what a woman goes through to have a baby. Believe me I am} not planning on jumping off any tables, but he is wrong about babies being fully developed at Tx : LANDERS request of our 16-year-old daugi- ter) and we feel that you pus- sess a great deal of common sense. We want you to give us a one word reply to our ques- tion, "Yes" or "No," It is not essential that you give reasons for your reply be- cause there has been endless discussion on the subject. Your answer will be final. Our 16-year-old daughter has been invited by the parents of her boy friend on a 10-day camping trip. Their son is 16, too, and has no brothers or sis- ters. It would be just the four of them. Yes or no?--All Ears Dear All: No, And thank you for making it so easy. Dear Ann Landers: Please tell me if you think I am losing my mind. I wouldn't discuss this with anyone else, but if you feel I need to see a psychiatrist I will make an appointment at once.
