YOUNG The death occurred sudden- ly Sept. 2, at the Oshawa Gen- eral Hospital of Jack H. Young of 307 Leslie St. He was in his 63rd year. Township. He received his ed- ucation in Brock Township Schools and came to Oshawa from Sunderland in 1948. During his residence here, Mr. Young operated J. H. Young Fuels, Mr. Young was a member of Simcoe Street United Church; Cedar Lodge, No. 270, AF and AM.; King Edward Lodge, No. 464, AF and AM, Sunderland; Sunbeam Chapter, No. 73, Or- der of the Eastern Star and the Oshawa Harness Horse As- sociation. He is survived by his wife, the former Laura May Miller, whom he married in Valentine Church in 1924; a daughter, Mrs, Ronald Tripp (Eleanor) of Oshawa and four sons, Ken- neth of Oshawa, Harvey of Bellevelle, Bruce of Port Perry and John of Whitby. Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Perey St. John (Lillian) of Sunderland; a brother, Wil- liam of Beaverton and 10 grandchildren.
