Parker, 20, 12 Burk St., had his licence sus- pended for one year and re- ceived a fine of $300 or 90 days after pleading guilty in Oshawa Magistrate's Court Monday to a dangerous driving charge. Police testified that on Feb. 12 Parker drove his car through the city at speeds up to 95 mph, went through a red light, failed to stop at corners while mak- ing turns and went through a crosswalk. BAD CHEQUE Charles Johnson, 50, RR 5, Bowmanville, was convicted of uttering a bad cheque in the amount of $84.70. He was given a 12-month suspended sentence by Magistrate H. W. Jermyn. Later in the session, Magistrate D. B. Dodds gave him a 12- month suspended sentence for forgery. Johnson admitted fong- ing a cheque in his wife's name. THEFT Mrs. Lorraine Anne Oderkirk, 21, 359 Rosedale Dr., admitted stealing merchandise to the value of $6 from a local grocery store. Mrs. Oderkirk was given a six-month suspended sen- tence. MINOR CONSUMING Thomas Bouckley, 17, 846 Sylvia St., pleaded guilty to a charge of consuming liquor while under the age of 21 years. He admitted one previous con- viction for the same offence and was fined $75 and costs or 20 days, with 30 days to pay the fine. $100 FINE After pleading guilly to a charge of driving while his abil- ity was impaired, Keith Charles Lemon, 44, 44 Anderson Ave., was fined $100 and costs or 30 days by Magistrate Dodds.
