(CP)--Any tax increases announced by Fi- nance Minister Sharp in his budget Thursday night will mean fewer orders for Cana- dian goods and increased unem- ployment, George Hees, Pro- gressive Conservative member of Parliament for Northumber- land, said Monday night. Mr. Hees, a contender for leadership of the national Con- servative party, was addressing a fund-raising dinner of the North York PC Association in this village near Toronto. The recently-concluded Ken- nedy Round, while it will re- duce taxes by one-third in the next five years, will mean greater competition for Cana- dian goods in Canadian markets, Mr. Hees said.
