Ford Was Defending Himself Counsel Argues Before Jury By JAMES FOLEY TORONTO (CP) -- Wayne Ford should not be convicted of murder because he was defend- ing himself when he killed his mother on May 16, 1963, his counsel, Donald Creighton, told a Supreme Court jury today. Mr. Creighton asked the jury to acquit Ford, charged with the ' gapital murder of Mrs. Minnie Ford, 55, on the basis of justi- flable homicide. He said any normal man would have acted as did Ford.
