Blend in lemon peel and milk. Add, all at once, to flour mixture. Mix only until ingredients are blended (about 30 strokes). Turn into a well-greased, light- pan. Bake in preheated mod- erate oven (350 F,) 1 hour and); 10 minutes. Cool.
