Town Line – It is with regret that the people of Almond’s church part with Rev. Mr. Manning. His ministry of three years has been a success. The congregation has kept up well, although many have moved away; the S.S. and C.F. have proposed; 28 new members have been received into the church; the sacrament has been administered nearly every quarter, which was not done before Mr. Manning came. He has given splendid preaching services when there was a visiting preacher at the Tabernacle. He was always out to Almond’s when possible and we assure Mr. Manning that he takes with him the good wishes of all who attend church and that he may have every success in his new charge.
