Whitby’s Lori Strong, women’s gymnastic champion at the Commonwealth Games, will be part of the Canadian team that takes on the world’s best in the Canadian Airlines Cup to be held Thursday, March 29 at the Skydome.
Strong, winner of four gold and two silver medals at the Commonwealth Games, will lead the women’s team.
The women’s invitational competition is expected to feature the Olympic champion U.S.S.R. team and runner-up Romania as well as the best from Bulgaria, France, Spain, U.S.A. and China.
