Brooklin – Early on Saturday morning (March 20) the water raised very high and the mill race overflowed. The basement of the Methodist Church was flooded but was ready for use again on Sunday (March 21).

A break occurred in the waste gate of Grass’ mill dam on Tuesday morning (March 23). One of the upright timbers gave way and half the gate was forced out. The damage will be repaired as speedily as possible.
