Vladimir (Volodymyr) Yermoshenko writes in Russian. He was 17 at the time of the famine; his family had died and he worked as a gravedigger in a burial brigade to stay alive. He received a bowl of soup a day for interring "like animals" 61 people. He did not do a very good job at it because he was too weak. To survive, he ate dead horses, frogs, etc.
He blames the famine on those who wanted to make a career by taking from people their last bowl of soup.
He mentions that he was imprisoned for 4 years in Komsomolsk-on-Amur (Russia) and served in the Red Army during the Great Patriotic War (Second World War). He says he has documents about his uncle who was a Bolshevik party activist along with Lenin and Krupskaia and has a memoir written in a notebook about 1931-1933 and 1938.
