Description
The UCRDC: Holodomor Survivors Oral Histories contains a valuable collection of over 80 video interviews with Holodomor survivors conducted by the Ukrainian Canadian Research and Documentation Centre.

This project was initiated by the UCRDC in 2008 and the testimonies were filmed across Canada. Canada is among the leading nations to recognize the Holodomor as an act of genocide in May of 2008.

The collection can be viewed through the Holodomor Digital Collection database, developed in collaboration with OurDigitalWorld, available with extensive metadata, time-stamp descriptions, transcriptions, translations, and in a fully searchable format. The time-stamp descriptions, translations/transcriptions (if available) can all be found in the top right of the page as in downloadable PDF format.

Please note that this database only contians short clips of the video interviews and full videos must be requested from the UCRDC by emailing office@ucrdc.org.
