- Description
- Numerous visual resources are available on this website, although it does not appear to be updated at this time. The section: Контекст трагедії (1929-1933):офіційні фотодокументи [Context of the the tragedy (1929-1933): official photo documents] includes thumbnail images of the full contents of the so-called Innitzer album - 25 photographs depicting famine conditions in Kharkiv and surrounding area in 1933. Also, displayed are thumbnail images of more than 100 other photographs from the period which were taken by Soviet officials as official documentation of the processes of dekurkulization, indoctrination, and the implementation of collectivization in Ukraine. The archive contains hundreds of additional photographs in its collections. Those official photographs, however, do not depict conditions of deprivation or starvation.
